Ring Sizing
Our rings run in US sizes 5 to 9. Two ways to find yours without leaving the house.
If you already own a ring that fits
Pick one you wear on the finger you have in mind. Measure straight across the inside, edge to edge, and match it to the inside diameter column below.
If you don't
Cut a thin strip of paper, wrap it around the base of that finger, and mark where it overlaps. Lay it flat and measure to the mark. That is your circumference.
| Size | Inside diameter | Circumference |
|---|---|---|
| 5 | 15.7 mm / 0.62 in | 49.3 mm / 1.94 in |
| 6 | 16.5 mm / 0.65 in | 51.9 mm / 2.04 in |
| 7 | 17.3 mm / 0.68 in | 54.4 mm / 2.14 in |
| 8 | 18.2 mm / 0.72 in | 57.0 mm / 2.24 in |
| 9 | 19.0 mm / 0.75 in | 59.5 mm / 2.34 in |
Use the millimeter side of your ruler if it has one. A whole ring size is about three hundredths of an inch, finer than the smallest mark on most inch rulers, so inches will get you close and millimeters will get you exact.
A note on the Dome Ring
It is a wide band, and wide bands sit snugger than thin ones because more metal touches your finger. If you land between two sizes, take the larger one.
Two things that change the answer
Fingers swell in heat and late in the day, and shrink when you are cold. Measure in the afternoon at room temperature for the truest read. Your dominant hand usually runs about a half size larger.
